Coliseum Community Week
15th July - 19th July 2008

In 2008 the Coliseum Community Week showcased five exciting and original performances from across Oldham.

The Dance Splash event kick started the week with a great community dance together. Second on to the stage were Oldham Gateway Club and All Stars Drama group who teamed up to present their talents to a wider audience and to perform for the first time on the coliseum stage. Age Concern had a tough act to follow with their Silver Stars Talent Show. The competition was open to anyone over 60 who wanted to show off a hidden talent, anything from telling a joke to singing. Finally, last but not least, Congress Players presented Andrew Mitchell's 18 piece band and guests in a Big Band contest.
