At the Festival of Diversity launch event there were activities for all the family in and around the Parish Church.

Oldham Youth Service and Age Concern came together to perform on the Oldham's Got Talent Community Stage. The Salt Cellar got into the party spirit with the sound of jazz accompanying their Festival food offerings. Along with OPAG who provided creative craft activities throughout the day. Groundwork provided a programme of 'take part' green activities and MFYP presented bodypopping to breakdancing. Inside the Parish Church Oldham International Choir and Blue Coat School sang before the bells rang out to welcome the festival season. It was a great day for all.
