Continuing from We Made it! in 2009 the Festival further supported Oldham's Bloom and Grow entry in the North West in Bloominitiative by creating engaging community projects and working with local organisations towards long term objectives.

Artist Brain Raymond from Leaf Arts was commissioned to lead the project, focusing on the Rochdale Road area. The Bloom and Grow 2010 projects will continue long after the judges have gone home through improving residential relations and generating a sense of community and pride in Oldham.
